Industrial design - a giant step forward

For more than ten years Peppar has been working with industrial design for Alfa Laval in lots of different projects, among which was the design of Alfa Laval's greatest machine series of our time. "A small footprint - a giant step forward", was the slogan that launched their industrial separator unit. Small volume, simple installation, ease of management and reassuring design are the most important features of these products. Working with full-scale polystyrene models parallel with 3D-CAD meant that the separation unit was considerably compressed compared to its predecessors.

The long term cooperation between the constructors and the designer also resulted in some unique draft constructions.
